The 1929 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Boat-tailed Roadster is Chassis 34WJ. This handsome motorcar was a very early PII, shown on the Weymann of Paris stand at the 1929 Paris Show with Sedanca de Ville coachwork. It was rebodied as a Boat-Tailed roadster in 1970 by Townsend, to a very appropriate 1929 Park Ward design for a Speed Six Bentley. It is in excellent condition throughout. A new head was installed and the engine rebuilt about 2500 miles ago. It is all in good order including the Autovac and Bijur central lubrication. The car is finished in burgundy and creme, with black leather throughout. It has a good top (hood), side-curtains, and tonneau cover in black. The Dickie seat and rear storage compartment are opened with hidden controls from the cockpit. The engine is legendary in the P2, arguably the best Rolls motor of the Classic Era. These cars regularly sell well above $350,ooo in open configuration, so this represents a rare opportunity to acquire a truly important car affordably. The car lived most of its life in England but has recently been brought to the States. It can be reimported to the EU without VAT tax for 3 years.

The car runs and drives beautifully and is driven regularly on countryside tours and rallies.
