1935 Auburn 851 Supercharged Cabriolet This stunning car is one of less than 40 Supercharged Cabriolets extant. The arresting Red paint job is in excellent condition and as you can see this car is as good underneath as it is on top! It features a full leather interior, Dual Ratio rear end, 3 position top, Radio and Heater, as well as auxiliary horns. The car is fully sorted and runs and drives very well. This Gordon Buehrig Design was an update of the '34 Auburn, which was not received well by the public or Company Management, although structurally and mechanically, it was a very advanced car for its time. Mr. Buehrig came up with a tour de force of Streamlining and Art Deco design cues which is legendary and is generally considered the best Auburn of all time design wise and quite frankly one of the most beautiful cars of the Pre War era. These cars are hard to find in this condition- a car that runs and drives well and shows equally well. With Speedster values rising to $400,000, this car is a good value, and a sure bet for increased appreciation.
