The Packard Motor Car Company turned out the finest cars in the world, built to the highest standards of quality and engineering for over 50 years. This legendary Marque is the choice of Top collectors the world over. No Collection is complete without a Classic Era Packard. The Super 8 produced from 1939 on is arguably the finest motor Packard ever built with 9 main bearings and over 150 HP. This Rare Example would make a fine addition to any collection and will garner quite a bit of attention at any Meet, not to mention it is a great Tour Car.
The Nanaline Duke Car
This well documented and famous car owned by Reynolds Tobacco Heiress Nanaline Duke mother of Doris Duke(the wealthiest little girl in the World) for use at her New York City residence. The car is an original unrestored car in exceptional condition.
As the Classic Era was drawing to a close and War was approaching, the demand for chaufeur driven town cars was on the wain. The 160 and 180 Chassis had a much more limited selection of custom coachwork options. Basically LeBaron and Rollson were only options for larger closed cars and the Darrin for the more sporting or adventurous. Very few of these custom bodied cars were built, particularly on the Super 8 Chassis. The Rollson Panel Brougham is quite unique with its almost square body, tasteful appointments, and luxurious interior. This is arguably the most important and well documented Panel Brougham, prominently featured in the Packard Book. An older CCCA first place winner (before they even starting assigning numbers to the cars). The car runs and drives exceptionally well, and needs nothing to be toured or shown immediately.
