The Series 62 was a series of cars produced by Cadillac, designed to replace the mid-sized Series 70 in 1940. It remained in production through 1964. Designed by Bill Mitchell, the Classic Era 62 Series is generally considered the pinnacle of Cadillac design and one of the most desirable Cadillacs to own. It was available as a club coupe, sedan, or convertible. The Series 62 is rising rapidly in todays collector car marketplace due to its rugged drivetrain and modern car drivability, coupled with exceptional styling.

This exceptional and rare Convertible Sedan was the subject of a ground up restoration to show standards in the 90's. It is CCCA Senior Car #1774. Since that time the car has been toured quite successfully, having completed 5 CARavans. This is a car you can jump in, and drive cross country without hesitation. As you can see, it is still in excellent Cosmetic condition as well, so certainly is a car you can show with confidence. Being winter, the car was photographed indoors with the top down. The top is Tan Hartz Cloth and in excellent condition.
