The Series 62 was a series of cars produced by Cadillac, designed to replace the mid-sized Series 70 in 1941. It remained in production through 1964. Designed by Bill Mitchell, the '41 is generally considered the pinnacle of Cadillac design and one of the most desirable Cadillacs to own. The Fisher bodied Series 62 used a 129 in wheelbase. It was available as a club coupe, sedan, or convertible. All Cadillacs shared the same 346 in 135 hp L Head V8 that year, with power rising to 150 hp. The Series 62 is rising rapidly in todays collector car marketplace due to its rugged drivetrain and modern car drivability, coupled with exceptional styling.
