This vehicle was made as a “hire” by Hooper for the hotels, restaurants and limo services in England. Approximately 50 were made and only six are known to the Daimler Club today. It was the largest “hire” car ever made.

No expense was spared in making the vehicle as comfortable as possible for the passenger. Some of the options include: recessed running boards, extra large comfortable jump seats with arm rest and recessed floor boards, electronic division, electric rear window shade, invisible pop-up luggage rack and an advanced heating system for its’ time.

This vehicle was imported to the U.S. in the 80’s, and left in long-term storage. The vehicle does start, run and stop, however, it needs a complete cosmetic restoration and the wood under the running boards need to be replaced.

In 1952, this represented English craftsmanship and design at its’ finest. The beautiful Hooper lines would lend themselves to either a double color scheme or triple color scheme.
