1934 Packard RestoMod 502 CI/500 HP-700R4 Auto Vintage Air
This Tasteful 1934 Packard Custom Resto Mod was built from the ground up with a fully boxed original frame, Fat Man Independent Front Suspension, and a narrowed Ford 9" Rear End with 3:55 Gears. A Street and Performance 502 Cu In Crate V8 putting out 502 HP was installed dressed with a complete set of chrome brackets, valve covers, alternator, A/C compressor, block hugger headers, and Air Cleaner. Supplying fuel is a chrome Holley 700CFM Carb mated to an Edelbrock chrome dual plane aluminum Intake. the fully chromed and detailed engine is a Mark Campbell masterpiece!
The body was bead blasted and the original canvas top insert was replaced with Steel as were the floor boards and door cards. Finished in Pearl Parchment Base/Clear, with all new chrome, new custom Bumpers were fabricated from the originals. Chrome Roadster Wire Wheels wrapped in Diamondback Wide White Radials give the car a classic stance and appearance.
Inside, a custom Full Leather interior by Atkins Upholstery of Flintstone, Georgia features Bucket Seats up front and the Original Rear seat. A custom handmade dash insert and center console not only add a touch of class but neatly organize the Dolphin Instruments, Vintage Air unit, Remote controlled Sony AM/FM -CD Stereo. The Tilt Wheel features a Lecarra Banjo Steering Wheel.
This over the top custom reflects on only the craftsmanship and build quality Packard's exhibited when new but also the technology and performance of today's RestoMod Movement. The car has won numerous awards at not only Hot Rod shows but also the 2018 Atlanta Concours.
